You retain ownership of any recipes, pet information, meal plans, and other content you create or upload to the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to post, upload, or share the User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Your User Content is accurate and not misleading
• Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

5.3 Content Removal

6. Subscription and Payment

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription. All fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.

6.3 Refunds

Refund policies are determined on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at support@pawprintkitchen.com. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of Terms violations or fraudulent activity.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Pawprint Kitchen and is protected by international copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

The Pawprint Kitchen name, logos, and branding used in connection with the Service are our property. Other trademarks, service marks, and logos used in connection with the Service may be the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The Service provides nutritional information and recipe analysis tools for informational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your veterinarian or other qualified pet health provider with any questions you may have regarding your pet's nutrition or health.

Nutritional information provided by the Service is based on general guidelines and may not be appropriate for all pets. Individual pets may have unique dietary needs, allergies, or health conditions that require specialized care. We do not guarantee that recipes created using our Service will be safe, appropriate, or beneficial for your pet.

8.2 Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other reasons beyond our control.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWPRINT KITCHEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any harm to your pet resulting from recipes or nutritional information provided by the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
• Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pawprint Kitchen, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Any harm to your pet or others resulting from recipes or information created or obtained through the Service
• Your User Content

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of such third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the third party, and we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from such interactions.

11. Account Deletion and Data Export

11.1 Requesting Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by sending an email to privacy@pawprintkitchen.com with your account email address and a clear request to delete your account. We will process your deletion request within 7 business days.

11.2 What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete all of your personal information and data, including:

• Your account information (email, name, password)
• All pet profiles and associated data
• All recipes, ingredients, and meal plans
• All user preferences and settings
• All session and authentication data
• Any other data associated with your account

Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data. We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion.

11.3 Data Export

You may export your data at any time through your account settings. We recommend exporting your data before requesting account deletion to ensure you have a copy of your information.

11.4 Data Retention After Deletion

We may retain certain information after account deletion only where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

• Information required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
• Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you
• Backup copies that are automatically deleted according to our backup retention schedule

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pawprint Kitchen operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration organization, except where prohibited by law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pawprint Kitchen regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
